Indiana

The Wisconsin Badgers beat the Iowa Hawkeyes by a measly three-points, the Indiana Hoosiers beat the Iowa Hawkeyes 38-20. The Michigan State Spartans lost to the Wisconsin Badgers by three-points. So how do we fair against the Indiana Hoosiers?

My prediction is this week Dantonio and Narduzzi will really focus on the defensive side of the ball in practice this week and State will come out pressuring quarterback for the Indiana Hoosiers Kellen Lewis and with injury problems at running back for the Hoosiers they will have to pass more often then not. Otis Wiley and the secondary will shapen up and play better. The Hoosiers defense has let up on average 36 points. Michigan State being the high-powered offense it is, no way the Hoosiers stop the Spartans from moving the football.

Bottom line the defense will step up in a victory over the Hoosiers 27-13.

Michigan State can't have a third straight season fall completely apart, can they? The last two years expectations have been fairly high when the wheels came off. This year with a new coach and all the other circumstances many people are picking Michigan State to be the worst team in the Big Ten. Because of that, they may not have a whole lot to play for by the time they come to West Lafayette. I like to think that with a new coach the collapse of the past two years won't happen, but a similar record may be in order simply because the Spartans are about a year away.

Checkout this Big 10 news, Greg .. what do you think of this? We want your opinion.

Word out of Penn State is that legendary coach Joe Paterno is being investigated for road rage by the Penn State police.

Penn State police are investigating an apparent road rage incident that was reported to them about 12:10 p.m. Friday along Bigler Road near the Food Science Building.
Penn State police spokesman Tyrone Parham said he could not release the names of those involved because the investigation is ongoing. Additional interviews are being conducted, he said.

"We've only heard one side of the story so far," Parham said.

The caller and apparent victim is a university employee, according to police.

First off "anonymous" i would like to say this isn't a big deal. If someone was killed this would have been out by now and been all over the news. Paterno may receive a small fee if anything, along with the other involved.

I think it's really funny... I can picture Paterno going off on some one, screaming at the other person.

Likely the key will be to contain Lewis as opposed to sacking him. That is not to say there won't be a pass rush but they need to be sure that they do not loose containment where he can hurt them with his legs. He can throw so we will need a much better performance from the secondary. I am not expecting miracles but we had better see an improvement.

Hi greg i noticed that you are too lazy to keep up your website and i am disapointed because i wanted to laugh at the stupid prediction that MSU is going to beat Ohio state. I hope they do but they probably wont. I bet if you would have predicted it you probably would have said something stupid such as MSU will beat them by 21 points. Tell me when you have the predictions for ohio state ready so if you predict something stupid i can tell mike about it....
